Manuel Neuer is widely regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time. In 2011, Neuer was signed by Bayern Munich for a reported €22 million, and went on to make over 500 appearances for the club over the following decade. During his time at Bayern, he won the Bundesliga a remarkable nine times, as well as the DFB-Pokal five times, the DFL-Supercup four times, and the UEFA Champions League three times. He was also named Bundesliga goalkeeper of the year four times, and was twice named German Footballer of the Year. On the international stage, Neuer has been equally as successful. He made his debut for Germany in 2009 and has since gone on to win the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup with the national team. He has been named in the UEFA Team of the Year seven times, and has been named the IFFHS World’s Best Goalkeeper a record five times. At 34 years of age, Neuer is still one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and looks set to continue his remarkable career for many years to come.

He also practices throwing the ball in different directions and heights, as well as forming a wall to block shots.
