The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently published a notification for the recruitment of Head Constables (Ministerial) in various states and Union Territories across the country. This is an important news for all the individuals who aspire to join the police services.
The vacancy details include 1,841 Posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Rifleman in Assam Rifles (AR). It is an open competitive examination for the posts of Head Constable (Ministerial). The candidates must apply online in the prescribed application format latest by June 7, 2021.
The minimum educational requirement for applying for the examination is a 12 th class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized board. The age limit for applying for the Head Constable (Ministerial) post should be in between 18-25 years. The selected candidates will be appointed at the basic pay of Level-4 in the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs.25,500/-.
There will be a Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination as part of the selection process. The CBE shall consist of two papers to test the knowledge and skills of applicants in General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude & English Comprehension.
