The Odisha CHSE 12th results for the academic session 2020-21 have been announced on the official website of the board. The pass percentage this year stands at an impressive 97.89%, a significant improvement from last year.
A total of 3,50,000 students appeared for the exam across the state, out of which 3,43,000 students have cleared the exam. The girls have outshone the boys, with a pass percentage of 98.23% as compared to 96.69% for boys.
The top three districts with the highest pass percentage are Nayagarh, Puri, and Khordha. The Odisha CHSE 12th result has brought a wave of joy and excitement among the students and their families.

On Wednesday, July 29th, 2020 the Odisha Council of Higher Secondary Education, also known as CHSE, declared the 12th result. Thousands of students waited with bated breath to know their results as the announcement had been delayed due to the ongoing pandemic situation.
The latest statistics reveal that the overall pass percentage has been recorded at 79.96%, which is a slight improvement over the last year score of 79.58%. Despite the COVID-19 situation, girls have outshone the boys by scoring 81.39% compared to 78.60%. The difference between the scores of the two genders had been increasing in the recent years, and this pattern has continued this year too. A total of 1,86,739 students appeared for the exams and out of that number, 1,34,053 qualified for higher courses.
Sachina Nayak has been declared as the topper of the CHSE 12th exams this year with a total score of 96.4%. Some other notable performances include Pradipta Brunda, who scored 95.4%, Annu Kumari from Jharsuguda with 95.2%, and Radha Bhandari from Bargarh who achieved 95%.
In the wake of the pandemic situation, the Odisha Board had taken a wise decision of facilitating the online submission of applications and examination forms, thus allowing the students to maintain social distance. Parameters such as student comfort, well-being and safety had been taken into account while designing the examination schedule and making these decisions.
To avoid the crowd at the centers, the board also decided to conduct the exams in two shifts so that the results could be announced in time. The results of the examinations are now available on the official website of the Board and students can check their scores there.
