The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has announced the recruitment for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT). This is a great opportunity for PGT aspirants aspiring to make a mark in the education sector.
The Recruitment Board has advertised posts across several categories such as Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Zoology. A total of 1743 vacancies have been notified and the candidates can choose to apply in their preferred subject.
Candidates who wish to apply for this post must possess a post-graduate degree in their field and must have obtained an aggregate score of fifty percent in the qualifying examination. Furthermore, they must have qualified the Screening Test conducted by the board or they should possess a valid teaching certificate/diploma from a recognized institution/university.
The selection process will be based on an objective type written examination with 120 multiple-choice questions. The examination will be conducted in the English language and the duration of the exam is of two hours and thirty minutes.
The examination will evaluate the knowledge and understanding of the candidates in their subject of choice, relevant disciplines and general knowledge. Furthermore, the physical test and socio-economic criteria will also be taken into consideration for the selection process.
