The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has recently announced the recruitment of 3,890 Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT). Eligible applicants aged 18-42 are encouraged to apply for the positions, as jobs are highly sought after in the state.
The online registration of applications will begin from October 19th and the last date for the submission of applications is November 18th. Candidates can view detailed information related to the recruitment process, including the eligibility criteria, exam pattern, the selection process, documents required and other important information.
The recruitment is to be done for popular subjects like Mathematics, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Science and Social Science and the required qualifications to apply vary accordingly. The selection is divided into two stages – a Written Exam and a Socio-Economic Criteria and Experience (SECE). The written exam is of 90 marks with questions being based on the general knowledge, concerned subject and current affairs.
The SECE is of 10 marks and is based on the socio-economic criteria set by the selection committee. It evaluates the applicants on their educational qualifications, experience and socio-economic background. Only the applicants who successfully clears both tests of the selection process, would be recruited against the 3,890 TGT posts.
