The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released a notification for the recruitment of Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill the post of 4,336 Officer Scale I, 2,118 Officer Scale II and 502 Officer Scale III.
The IBPS is based in Mumbai and is a government agency responsible for conducting online examinations and interviews to select suitable candidates for a variety of posts in different public sector banks across the country. Through this recruitment drive, the IBPS is aiming to fill the vacancies in Canara Bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Syndicate Bank, UCO Bank, Andhra Bank, Bangalore, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Dena Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Punjab National Bank, UCO Bank and Vijaya Bank.
Eligible candidates should be between 18 and 30 years of age and have a valid degree from a recognized university or institute offering postgraduate, graduate and diploma courses. Candidates should also possess a valid IBPS scorecard and pass the required tests like the Common Written Examination (CWE), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
The recruitment process consists of two phases. In the first phase, candidates will have to fill the online application form, which is available on the IBPS website. After this, they will be called for the Common Written Examination, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. For Officer Scale I, the CWE will be conducted in August and for Officer Scale II and III, it will be conducted in the month of July.
