The Jharkhand Postal Circle has recently announced the results of its direct recruitment examination. The examination was conducted by the circle to fill up the vacancies of Postman/Mailguard and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) in various post offices of the state.
The selection process consisted of a written test and a document verification round. The written test was conducted between 23rd August and 1st September 2020 and the document verification was held between 21st December and 23rd December 2020. A total of 699 posts were filled through the examination.
The Jharkhand Postal Circle has now declared the results for the written test on its official website. The candidates can check the list of selected candidates, as well as the category-wise cut-off marks, on the website. The cut-off marks for the general category was 33.00 while the cut-off marks for SC and ST categories was 28.00 and 24.00 respectively.
The selected candidates are now eligible to appear for the next stage of the recruitment process – the document verification round. During this process, the candidates have to submit all the required documents to the Commission for verification. The documents required are proof of identity and residence, age proof, educational qualification, and caste certificate (if applicable).
The selected candidates must note that they will also have to clear a Medical Examination at the end of the recruitment process. Only those candidates who are found medically fit will be recruited for the post of Postman/Mailguard or Multi-Tasking Staff.
The Jharkhand Postal Circle has said that the selected candidates will be intimated about the upcoming stages of the selection process via the email address given during the registration process. The candidates are advised to keep checking their emails for the latest updates.
