The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) announced the results of the Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) Examination 2019 on Friday, October 11, 2019.
A total of 18,254 candidates had appeared in the exam that was held on June 28, 2019. The results declared by the JKPSC are of the open merit exams. A total of 867 candidates have been declared successful in the KAS Examination 2019.
These examinations were conducted for the recruitment of 708 vacancies of various services in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Of the successful candidate, 388 are from Kashmir and 479 from Jammu. The Commission has also released the list of successful candidates’ roll numbers along with their category-wise split up.
The candidates who have qualified the exam can start the process of document verification at the allotted centers from October 14, 2019. The list of the allotted centres along with the address is mentioned on the official website of the JKPSC.
The successful candidates are advised to complete all the prescribed formalities before the end of October 19, 2019. It is expected that the candidates will be offered jobs by the end of November.
