The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) has announced the recruitment of excise constables. This recruitment process is being conducted to select eligible candidates for 345 vacancies of Excise Constable in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years of age and must have passed 12th standard with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. They must have a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized Board or Institution. Physical standard tests will also be conducted to assess the physical fitness of the candidates.
The selection will be on the basis of a written exam, physical test and a personal interview. The written exam will consist of multiple-choice questions to be answered in the prescribed time limit. The physical test will include 5 different events such as 100 M run, Long Jump, High Jump, Throw Ball and Rope Climbing. The physical test will be conducted to assess the physical fitness and agility of the applicants.
Candidates who successfully pass all the tests will be eligible for a personal interview. The interview is aimed at assessing the communication and general knowledge skills of the applicants. The marks obtained in the written exam and physical test will be considered for the selection process.
